Sustainability as a global business concept

Economising on resources has always been deeply rooted in the IKEA approach to product design and production. It helps to save not only money but the environment too.

Keeping prices low is a cornerstone of the IKEA business idea. But the low prices must never be at the expense of people and the environment. That is IKEAs global condition for doing good business.

will also be examples of strategies we use to develop more sustainable products in our everyday work and finally a glimse of what the future challenges are”

15.50 – 16.20  Per Stolz, project leader "Green Living", IKEA of Sweden

"We will show how IKEA works to develop solutions and know-how that enables the many people to live a more sustainable life at home. The focus area are water, waste and energy” - What impact could 300 mill. IKEA customers have living a more sustainable life at home!?”
