The next Copenhagen Design Week will take place in the beginning of September 2011.
 
We would like to say a special thank you to everyone involved in Copenhagen Design Week 2009 - to the supporters, exhibitors, speakers, participants and visitors from around the world. Their actions, advice, kindness and goodwill made the first Copenhagen Design Week such a special experience for everyone.

Itʼs a Small World explores the new craftmanship in Danish design,  craft and architecture. With focus on future design practice, human scale and sustainablility, the exhibition challenges the traditional role of the designer. Six interdisciplinary scenarios seek a new relevancy of design in the world.

INDEX: AWARD EXHIBITION is a recurring, world-touring exhibition, which presents the finalists for the INDEX: AWARD. The exhibition offers an exciting, amazing and visionary insight into the solutions created by designers to improve life for people around the world. INDEX: AWARD EXHIBITION 2009 premieres on 21 August 2009 at Kongens Nytorv in Copenhagen.
